Why Louise is a Good Fit
Louise has worked in the VET system for over 40 years and combines experience in both delivery and policy roles in the UK and WA. She has delivered training on VET policy reforms and the introduction of new systems to VET practitioners, assessed and reported on regional VET needs, facilitated cross government department activity such as to integrate VET into the school system and to pilot federally funded VET and employment initiatives across WA, and more recently, managed the VET component of a national skills project within the disability sector, to identify skills required, assess supply and demand of VET to address these needs and map the identified skills to existing VET curriculum.
Louise’s broad experience with VET includes VET policy, assisting training providers develop curriculum, supporting training providers to become registered, on ground VET delivery and assessment, validation, and training compliance and regulation.
Louise is currently supporting the development of VET through small consultancy projects and will be available for additional projects later in 2026.
